Deputy Chairman, Political - Weston-super-Mare Conservative Association
James is a Westonian, born and bred, whose family has historical roots in the town for over 250 years.
After leaving the Town to pursue an Army Career, James returned to live in Weston-Super-Mare, retiring as a Military Police Officer after 26 years service.
He is currently a Senior Project Manager for His Majesties Prisons within the Ministry of Justice, working across the South of England.
James is actively involved in local issues, as:
- a youth leader as a Duke of Edinburgh Mountain Leader for local schools
- a Trustee of Worle Century Club, that provides vital charitable donations to the local community
- a member of the Weston-super-Mare Armed Forces Committee, that organises the Annual Armed Forces events—the single largest event in the South West.
